Tickets to Mousetrap

Poor tickets had to encounter a terrible journey before finding their way to the safe hands.

They arrived on Saturday morning but no one was at home. How was I supposed to know that GDex courier works on weekends?

I called to arrange for a redelivery on Monday morning and waited until 5:30 in the evening. The courier neither rang my door bell nor called my phone. I checked from the eTracking system and it said "No One at Home". Furious, I called the customer service helpdesk and she said "will check on it and give me a call back".

After waiting for nearly 1 1/2 hours I called again and another person asked me to call the branch in charge and the manager. Since no one answered at the branch I called the manager but he was on his way home because it was already 7:00 pm. So I texted the manager with details of the shipment and asked him to get to it first thing in the morning.

I received a call on Tuesday morning and was told that the tickets will be delivered again the next day. I felt like shouting at the caller because she said "2 attempts had been made and no one was at home". Did she not know what happened yesterday from the so called trusted eTracking system? They did not communicate well with each other and the eTracking records misleading information.

Finally the tickets arrived on Wednesday at 11:00 am sharp. Although I received them in the end I still lodged a complaint anyway.
