40th Birthday

My 40th birthday was the best! Although Hubby was busy looking at his phone during breakfast and sometime after that what can I do? He loves his job the most.

We had breakfast at Toast Box; nasi lemak, half-boiled eggs and coffee. Then we went to redeem the birthday vouchers before heading towards Lot 10. The Isetan was exclusively Japanese so we ordered a slice of Japanese cheese cake, hot chocolate for Hubby and another cup of coffee for me.

Afterwards we went to Loewe because Hubby wanted to buy me a birthday present....the PUZZLE BAG!

Since Hubby decided to tell the world that it was my birthday, we had another round of cakes. The sales assistant bought two slice of cakes and I had my third cup of coffee! OMG!

Then Hubby wanted to get himself the Gio Porfumo and we used one of the birthday vouchers to pay less.

13th Anniversary Dinner

1st of September 2016 marks the 13th anniversary of our marriage. We had dinner at a nearby restaurant and it was very delicious.

Selamat Hari Raya 1437 H

On the last day of Ramadan we had steak at PLM as buka puasa. The grass fed beef tasted amazing. I read from the menu that a healthy steak is one that was cooked either medium or medium well. Hence I requested medium. I know medium comes with blood BUT this time I just wanted to have a taste of medium grass fed steak. The waitress was so nice that she made it medium with no blood. For dessert I had warm chocolate cake with ice cream. Afterwards we were queuing to buy kuah kacang which I did not expect to happened.

As usual we celebrated the first day of Syawal at home and balik kampung in the afternoon. The most fun part was I got to celebrate Raya at hubby's elementary school friends' on the second day. We were served nasi briyani and asam pedas sardin and other Raya delicacies.

Now that we are back home I wanted to complete my puasa 6 soon. This week I finished only 3 so I have another 3 more days to go. 

Mother, brother and sister celebrated Raya in T.I. They had rendang tok, home made kuah kacang and nasi impit. I was hoping for them to send me some rendang but I actually already know that it was not possible. 

Remember the equation: 

expectation - observation = frustration.

I wish we had been to more Raya open houses. (but not the one in BJ, please don't invite us!). I honestly think that my belly has more space to stuff with Raya food still. Nevertheless alhamdulillah Raya 1437 H has been a great one.

Finally after waiting for 2 1/2 days the bag arrived at 12:20 p.m. today. I love the material used. The bag feels so soft. The colour black makes it very exquisite.

What's With Another S3 Bag?

O M G....They are announcing that this is going to be the final bag after 3 years of collaboration! I got to have this. The S3 clutch.

It costs only $129. So many fans are going to buy more than 1 unit because of the affordable price. And because it's the finale. Hopefully I manage to grab the black one tomorrow. Please......


UPDATE:

Yay!!! I finally got one. I logged in at around 12:15 a.m. but the website was not accessible. I tried again at 4:30 a.m. and still no S3. And again after subuh around 6:30 a.m. When I logged in at 8:00 a.m. sadly I saw no S3. I read the email and finally at around 8:30 a.m. I saw them on the website. I access FV via MaD just to get the cash back of 5.6%. I guess I was lucky. Many fans failed to grab any as they were all sold out in less than 30 minutes.

Now I can't wait for my S3 clutch in BLACK to arrive. I was so so so lucky....

Jakarta, I Heart You

A short business trip for my husband BUT a leisure trip for me to Jakarta on April 2016

We stayed at the Pullman Hotel which offers a breakfast buffet worth looking forward to every morning.
