The Truly Asia

It's Sunday, 11 July 2010 and I am finally physically in Malaysia. After spending a week or so in London for deary hubby's shopping spree and transitting in Doha I am actually back home at last. What can I say, I miss Guernsey very very much.

At first it felt like another holiday trip but now I realised that I am not going back to the European Continent anymore. Reality bites !

It was so hot and hectic in London that I started to miss how calm life was back in Guernsey. Everything was too fast and too chaotic making me sick to my bones. The friend's house where I stayed for the week is a bus ride to the nearest tube station. Unlike my previous house when I was in London back in 2007 where I can walk to the station.

Now that I am in Malaysia I still cannot stop thinking about Guernsey. The weather should be nice and warm unlike Malaysia and Doha and even London. I should be having my breakfast, pancakes and maple syrup with Lurpak spread. Hubby would be having his coffee, watching tv and browsing the internet. Later I will start preparing lunch while he's out to the gym.

Sundays are for tv and football and PS3 and newspapers. Broadband will be on for the whole day. Short nap at around 4-5 PM. Once in a while I got the chance to update my Facebook and munch on chocolates and cakes and crisps.

My first Sunday (today) is boring. While hubby is asleep because of jet-lag I'm here in the room downstairs typing a new post for this page. Lucky I finished all the laundry this morning and now I'm free to browse the internet.

I was thinking of balik kampung. At least I can talk to mak and opah and chat about how nice Guernsey is compared to Malaysia. I do nothing now and I am tired possibly mentally. I do not know what to talk about and with who. If I can go balik kampung I know I have lots to talk about. By doing this I will keep Guernsey in my mind. Actually I do not like Malaysian tv. Too much crap programmes, shit entertainment and depressing celebrities.

Oh, about the eczema I think it will not be cured soon. It is affecting my face especially the area around my eyes, forehead and nose ! What I'll do is keep applying the Hydrocortisone 1% cream. Well I know eczema is incureable anyway. I'm getting older. That's life.
