Love You

I was searching for the song from Toyota Yaris advert. Never did I know there was a group called The Free Design.....

Nice song. Here's the lyrics:

Give a little time for the child within you,
dont be afraid to be young and free.
Undo the locks and throw away the keys
and take off your shoes and socks, and run you.
La, la, la...

Give a little time for the child within you,
dont be afraid to be young and free.
Undo the locks and throw away the keys
and take off your shoes and socks, and run you.
La, la, la...

Run through the meadow and scare up the milking cows
Run down the beach kicking clouds of sand
Walk a windy weather day,
feel your face blow away
Stop and listen: Love you.

Roll like a circus clown, put away your circus frown
Ride on a roller coaster upside down
Waltzing Matilda, Carey loves a kinkatchoo
Joey catch a kangaroo, hug you.

Dandylion, milkweed, silky on a sunny sky
Reach out and hitch a ride and float on by

Balloons down below catching colors of the rainbow
red, blue and yellow-green: I love you.

Bicycles, tricycles, ice cream candy
Lollypops, popsicles, licorice sticks
Solomon Grundy, Raggedy Andy
Tweedledum and Tweedledee, home free.

Cowboys and Indians, puppydogs and sandpails
Beachballs and baseballs and basketballs, too.

I love forget-me-nots, fluffernutters, sugarpops
I'll hug you and kiss you and love you
La, la, la...
Love you.

Fellowship of the Ring

Today, as of 14 January 2010, my husband receive a letter informing that he has been transferred to Fellowship status after 5 years continuous membership with the organisation.
I am all excited and eagerly waiting for the certificate which will be sealed at the council meeting this coming March.
No one else for me to be proud of. Most people I know are all losers.
Time for a celebration. Yippieeee!!!!!!

Animal Crossing is back!

Wow wee....the second day of unemployment was filled with activities! I went to Shampoodle to get a new shug, got a pinwheel from Phineas and accidentally rolled a snow ball into the river (I wanted to build a snowman). I paid off my mortgage just to get more mortgage for the second floor of my house. Visiting long-time-no-see friends was such a joy...and saying goodbye to Peewee. That was from Animal Crossing Lets Go To The City.

Later I visited long-time-no-see friends in Animal Crossing Wild World. Yup....I played both version now, remember? I am addicted, you do remember, don't you? I got a new shirt just for Opal, dug a fossil for Pecan and bought a white furniture for Gabi. I successfully built a snowman and hoping that I got a snowman furniture the next day.

Today I went to M&S to see if I can buy the miso soup lunch pot. Unfortunately it was chicken miso soup, not seafood or vegetarian. I've tasted the miso soup in box from a friend and it didn't taste good. I nearly bought a sushi snack pack but remembered that I have to stick to my budget. I got breaded haddock for lunch already. I was so jealous that England got snow, thick snow but all I got here were sleet and rain. It was so slippery that I had to take another route to town. I was out of breath using Berthelot St where I had to climb the hill and had to stop 3 times. It was tiring and frustrating!! The weather was not helping either. It was so cold with no snow. It was like breathing knives.

Unemployed ~ Again !!!

4 January 2010 marks the first day that I am officially out of work, again! I was not forced to quit but it was my own decision. I feel that my employer doesn't like me because mine and her cultures are completely different. To put it in a simple phrase - we don't speak the same language. I told my colleagues that I'm sure will miss Europe....(probably, but the desserts.....of course!) Furthermore, my husband decided to move out of the country very soon. So it is good that I quit now or otherwise I have to serve a two-month notice period. That will be a disaster!

I am so... very hopeful that my husband gets the job that he really wants. Once it's confirmed, we will start packing and search for shipping company. I am very good at packing and get everything ready to be shipped. I am not sure where we will be heading to this time but it definitely is not Europe. I am very glad if we could move back nearer to home, although not exactly at home.

After about 1 and 1/2 hours in the office today for the final handover of jobs (because none of my bosses were in the office for the last 2 weeks of 2009) I went to do groceries like I did before I started working for the company last October. I went to the library and borrowed 3 books which I should have done during first half of 2009. I want to read books from my favourite authors before we move out of the country so that I will not waste money buying them. Back at home those books cost more than 30.

I am going to start budgeting my money in the bank. I paid my membership fee, house financing and will set aside probably 2,000 for suit. I am left with 1,000 but I want to buy a grill pan which is very expensive back home and 1 knee length blouse. I wish I can buy more Wii and Nintendo games but I don't think I have enough money. My husband is planning for Istanbul trip with a good hotel. I need to budget for this as well.

However, I treat myself with cheese & onion pasty and thornton's chocolates today. I always feel hungry at work but have no idea what to eat.
