A Weekend Wedding

Our beloved friend invited us to her sister's wedding for the weekends. My husband decided to book a hotel room so we won't have to travel on the day itself. Unfortunately all the rooms were fully booked so we had to resort to another hotel at a nearby town.

Some of the photos:

We had lunch at Plan B

At night we went to the Old Town Grand for dinner

After the wedding we went to KK just to see the Malay College building

The final night before heading back home was dinner at Karat

My husband told me one thing which I found unbelievable. He said he fears me second after God. That was shocking. I on the other hand fear him the most even the thought of seeing him frown send shivers down my spine. I always make sure to open the door when he comes home so that he won't have to wait. Looking at him take a bite of food I cooked make my heart pounds. I won't even dare to ask him to stop staring at his phone be it at night or on weekends, either male or female, single or divorcee. Want to cry or laugh? Do both. No one reads this blog anyway.

Bucket Bag Arrived !

I've just received my Navy bucket bag at 11:40 a.m. today. Woohooo......

Important note here: the excitement was not as much as I felt when I received S2.1 and S3. If I want to rank the excitement level it would be like this:

  1. S2.1
  2. S3
  3. S3 signature mini
  4. bucket bag
But its OK. I hope the love for the bag will grow soon ;)

UPDATE: I love my bucket bag even more now!

So I Bought The Bag

So I bought the bag! Surprisingly I decided to buy the Navy because I worried that any dirt or scratch will be made visible if I purchased the lighter colours i.e. Tangerine and Hazelnut. I remember I had the same dilemma when I purchased S3 Signature mini. I was so sure that the Navy is too dark that you cannot see the snake print detail. So I got the Green instead.

I hope to receive it tomorrow (if I was lucky enough)

The Bucket Bag

I received an email a few days back from an online store that they are going to launch a perfect bucket bag tomorrow. I was so looking forward to own a bucket bag but unfortunately the designers ones are very expensive like LV Noe and Mansur Gavriel.

The perfect bucket bag will be selling at $179 which is very affordable.

There are 12 colours to choose from:
  1. black
  2. dusty rose
  3. mimosa
  4. hazelnut
  5. teal
  6. navy
  7. charcoal
  8. olive
  9. amber
  10. tangerine
  11. red tulip
  12. payne gray

I am torn between hazelnut and tangerine. Obviously I won't buy black, navy, charcoal and dusty rose because I don't want to be in the great mass.

I shall blog about it later once I secure my online purchase and receive the bag ;)

Bangkok ~ Oct 2015

I was lucky that I was allowed to follow Hubby to his conference in Bangkok. We got the chance to go shopping afterwards.

The river view of the hotel was amazing! I got to see local boats and tourist boats every day and night. The view at night was especially beautiful.

We went to the famous MBK by Bangkok BTS and had dinner at Yana Restaurant on the 5th floor.

bought these crisps at National Stadium Station near MBK

sweet Thai ice tea

chayote (pumpkin leaves)

seafood tomyum

fried beef with crispy basil

On Friday we headed off to Siam Center and Siam Paragon after breakfast. Hubby bought a documents folder at Siam Center and several items as souvenirs at Naraya Siam Paragon. Afterwards we went to Yana Restaurant again for lunch and shop for souvenirs at MBK.

At night we took a shuttle boat provided by the hotel to Asiatique the Riverfront. There we bought more souvenirs. I might have gone crazy if I were a rich girl!
